The file below was created by the PGFF secretariat to facilitate the use of WHO’s Attributes and principles of genomic data-sharing platforms supporting surveillance of pathogens with epidemic and pandemic potential. The “operational principles” in the document have been consolidated into a checklist along with instructions for how to complete the checklist.
As a means of encouraging best practices, funders considering support for such platforms may wish to request applicants or awardees to complete the checklist.
The document is provided in Microsoft Word format and is “protected” such that the check-boxes are active. To modify the underlying document, the user will need to “unprotect” the form (under the Developer tab, which can be enabled if needed in the application’s settings).
